ATV-Quad-Tour is the largest quad tour portal in the German-speaking area. It is an essential part of the European event agency Ventori Events.
Managing directors are Frank Schulze and Michael Kreutzfeldt, who also mainly manage customer service and partner support themselves.
Frank Schulze, Graduate computer scientist with a minor in business administration, has been interested in computers and the internet since his youth, as well as for travel and events. After a few years as a software developer at a large event ticket company in Hamburg, he left 2004 self-employed and developed websites in the online business from Bad Harzburg in the Harz Mountains.
In the year 2008 he took part in a quad tour in Southeast Asia (picture left). The enthusiasm was great. This was followed by research on quad tours in Germany. There were around at that time 50 Quadtourveranstalter, but few general general event portals, who offered bookings. So he came up with the idea, build a quad tour portal. Customers should not only have the opportunity here, to find places for tours throughout Germany, but also be informed about differences. It should be possible to order vouchers and tickets. Bigger events too, where several organizers work together, could now be realized. Customer service should be like this, as is known from many other countries. Also available on weekends, fast answers, support and kindness.
Contact with partners should also be on a fair level. First, however, tour operators had to be convinced, that atv quad tour is the right place, to get more capacity for the tours.
Many phone calls and personal visits to the sites followed. He was able to do the tours z.T. also test.
The portal became really big and successful within a few weeks. Almost all organizers are now represented. Fortunately, the satisfaction rate among partners and customers is very high.
As the demand for tours abroad increased, there were also locations in Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic
, Spain and Eastern European countries too.
In the year 2012 the portal could no longer be operated alone, as the number of bookings kept increasing.
Michael Kreutzfeldt became an employee and looked after customers and partners, while Frank Schulze took care of accounting and IT.
At the same time, he set up the Segway portal seggy-touren.com using the same concept. 70 Locations throughout Germany are now represented on this platform.
The expansion to other European countries and the integration of digital structures for flexible working from the home office made it possible 2017 and others, that we have both portals under a newly formed company, der Ventori Europe OÜ, bundle up. Michael Kreutzfeldt became an equal managing director.
Estonia is a pioneer in Europe for digitization. At the time, the e-residency program was being advertised, which makes accounting much easier for companies in particular. Customers and partners also have a very transparent view of our company data, finance and tax payments (Link in the imprint).
This allowed us to 40% save time, which we could use for improved customer service. A few more small portals came along, p.e. for buggy tours. Nevertheless, the enlargement should take place slowly and cautiously. Our success is a small team, so that customers and partners always have the same contact person as far as possible.
